WHO IS DANTE NOTAR
Coach specializing in neuroplasticity, mind-body connection, and emotional awareness
Transformational Alchemist / Pianist Storytelling
Dante Notar is a coach who integrates neuroplasticity, emotional awareness, and the mind-body connection into his work.
Through his OltreMente project, he guides people through a somatic journey of observing and transforming their relationship with thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations.
The Method
I don't believe that well-being consists of continually trying to eliminate what makes us feel bad.
Anxiety, fear, pain, sadness, anger, and all those emotions that society has taught us to consider "negative" often become something to fight, control, or make disappear.
My approach starts from a different direction:
Embrace instead of eliminate.
Integrate instead of avoid.
Love instead of fight.
I don't teach people how to immediately get rid of a sensation.
I guide them toward developing a new relationship with that sensation.
Learning to feel anxiety instead of being afraid of anxiety.
Embracing pain instead of automatically seeing it as an enemy.
Staying in discomfort instead of turning our entire lives into a search for comfort.
Because often, change doesn't come from trying to eliminate what we are experiencing,
but from the completely different way we learn to experience it.
It's not about fighting the darkness to reach the light.
It's about learning to see the light within the darkness.
From the Mind to the Body
My work does not begin with the need to find an explanation for every thought, emotion, or sensation.
I don't work by constantly reconstructing a person's story in search of an origin that needs to be understood.
I work primarily with the present moment and re-action.
For me, it is essential to distinguish between what happens and the way we unconsciously learn to react to what happens.
The point is not necessarily to understand why something exists,
but to observe what is feeding the mechanism in the present moment.
That is why I guide people away from becoming entangled in their thoughts and toward direct experience:
the body, sensations, breath, attention, and the present moment.
I don't "reprogram" the subconscious.
I change the re-action in the present.
The subconscious changes on its own.
The Work Within
A fundamental part of the journey is understanding that change cannot be imposed from the outside.
I am not a master who possesses a truth that someone else must learn.
My role is to guide, observe, ask questions, cultivate awareness, and above all, shed light on something that is already within the person.
One of the phrases that best represents my approach is:
“I simply shed light on a part of you that is already there.”
The most important work will always be the work a person does within themselves.
Neuroplasticity, Thoughts, Body, E-motions
My approach integrates several elements:
Neuroplasticity
Observation of thoughts
Emotional awareness
Bodily sensations
Mind-body connection
Attention and presence
Re-action and automatic mechanisms
Acceptance and integration
Transformational alchemy
The work within
The goal is not to create an artificial new version of ourselves.
It is to learn to recognize the mechanisms that keep us trapped and develop the freedom to respond differently.
Some Ideas That Guide My Work
“Believe to See”
We have learned from society that we need to see to believe.
My approach is the opposite.
If you want to move beyond a problem, you need to start by truly believing that you can. It is that belief that,
step by step, allows you to see possibilities you could not even recognize before.
So I stopped seeing to believe.
Through my own experience, I learned to believe to see.
“Imagination is just as Real as Reality”
What we imagine can create a real experience in the body and mind, even when what we imagine
is not happening in the "external" world.
“There Is No Guru Outside of You”
No one can live your experience for you.
The journey can be guided, but the deepest understanding comes through direct experience.
"Re-born before you Re-live"
Sometimes we don't need to build a new life.
We need to change the way we are living the one we already have.
“The one thing a Scientist and a Spiritual person have in common is that
they both believe they are right”
It is an invitation to question even our own certainties.
The search for truth can become another form of attachment when we stop questioning what we believe we know.
“There is no truth other than the one you believe to be true”
The beliefs through which we interpret reality help shape our experience of that reality.
“Your beliefs shape the course of your destiny”
What we believe can influence our choices, our reactions, and the way we interpret what happens to us.
BeyondMind
OltreMente is born from this vision.
It does not mean eliminating the mind.
It means learning not to become completely identified with what the mind produces.
Thoughts, emotions, and sensations can be observed
without automatically becoming something to control, avoid, or fix.
OltreMente does not mean being against the mind.
It means going beyond identification with it.
Music: Another Path Beyond the Mind
Music represents the other great expression of Dante Notar.
As a Storytelling Pianist and Transformational Alchemist, Dante creates musical experiences in which the piano becomes a medium for expressing emotions, transformation, and inner states.
His music blends elements of classical, contemporary, ambient, cinematic, electronic atmospheres, and Eastern influences, creating a unique sonic universe.
His concerts are not simply a succession of pieces.
They are narrative experiences.
Each concert tells a different story, kept secret and experienced only by those who become part of the event.
The music also changes each time, because every concert has its own story, its own pieces & its own emotional journey.
Each piece represents an encounter, a transition, or an emotion that the protagonist (the audience)
experiences along the journey.
Music becomes a space where different emotions can be experienced
without immediately being labelled as positive or negative.
An emotion does not need to be eliminated.
It needs to be lived through.
A journey between heaven and earth, good and evil, hatred and love, towards the ONENESS.
Music as a Universal Language
In his concerts, Dante also uses evocative ethnic vocals as a call back to our roots, childhood, and that dimension of experience that exists before words and the categories of the mind.
Dante often refers to this moment as “the sound before the mind.”
His intention is to create a space of connection that goes beyond roles, labels, and the identities of the ego.
A return to something more essential.
Returning to the One.
And if there is a language capable of bringing different people closer without the need for translation,
it is the language of music.
Dante uses digital piano, grand piano, and loop station, combining acoustic sound with electronic processing to create sonic landscapes where mind and emotion can meet.
Music thus becomes another expression of OltreMente:
a way to go beyond words, beyond categories, and beyond what the mind is constantly trying to define.
Two Expressions, One Source
On one side, coaching.
On the other, music.
Two seemingly different languages, yet guided by the same intention:
to go beyond what we believe we are, and discover who we truly are.
OltreMente and the music of Dante Notar are two different doors leading in the same direction:
awareness, transformation, and the freedom to fully experience who we are.
